Over 70,000 people volunteered to get involved at the London Olympics this summer. Now dubbed the “Game Makers”, there is talk that the Government wish to reward Londoners who helped out with an Olympic Service Medal. Meera Pattni, from the Physiotherapy Department at The Wellington Hospital, took a week’s holiday from work to volunteer at the archery held at Lord’s Cricket Ground.

The Acute Neurological Rehabilitation Unit at The Wellington Hospital is the largest private unit in the UK; providing interdisciplinary inpatient rehabilitation programmes to patients aged 18 and over with acquired brain injury, neurological conditions and complex medical disabilities.
